Landing pages and prototypes

Validate your idea with real signups, not a mockup.

Launch a waitlist page today. It runs on real infrastructure, so the list you collect becomes your first users. When the idea wins, you keep building on the same backend instead of starting over.

Best for: founders · indie hackers · side projectsDifficulty: easyFirst build: waitlist page

Step 01

Connect your agent

Sign up free at codata.io and copy your MCP address from onboarding. Add it once to Claude, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, ChatGPT, Lovable or Replit, then log in to Codata IO when prompted:

https://mcp.codata.io/mcp
Step 02

Paste the starter prompt

Starter prompt · what to build
Build a landing page for [product idea in one sentence] aimed at [target customer].
Sections: headline and sub-headline, 3 benefits, how it works in 3 steps, FAQ, and a waitlist signup form.
Use the codata MCP server to store signups (name, email, "what problem do you want solved?", date), block duplicate emails, and send each new signup a welcome email through Codata IO.
Add an /admin page behind Codata IO sign-in showing the signup count and all responses.
Write the copy and show it to me before building the page.
Design layer · keep it in the same prompt
DESIGN (follow exactly)
Style: a confident startup landing page; lots of white space; content max width 1100px.
Hero: headline (56px desktop / 36px mobile), a one-line sub-headline, then an email field and a "Join the waitlist" button side by side (stacked on mobile), with a small trust line under it.
Sections in order: 3 benefit cards with simple line icons, "How it works" as 3 numbered steps, an FAQ accordion, and the signup form again at the bottom.
Success state: replace the form with "You're in. Check your inbox."
Admin: the signup count as a big number at the top, then a searchable table of signups.
Keep it fast: no stock photos, no heavy animations.
Colors: off-white background, white cards with soft 1px borders, near-black text, and ONE accent color: [your brand color, e.g. #2F5BFF] for buttons and highlights only.
Type: one clean sans-serif (e.g. Geist or Plus Jakarta Sans), 16px body text, generous line spacing.
Use Tailwind with shadcn/ui components. Add empty, loading and error states, and make every tap target at least 44px.
Build the main screen first with these exact specs and show it to me. After my OK, connect it to Codata IO.
Step 03

Add one feature at a time

Follow-up · A/B test
Add simple A/B testing of two headlines; record which one each visitor saw and whether they signed up, in Codata IO.
Follow-up · insights
Turn the admin page into a mini dashboard: signups per day as a chart and the most common words in the "problem" answers.
Step 04

Go live

Launch prompt
Check that /admin needs sign-in, the form validates emails, and no keys are in the code. Then deploy on Codata IO hosting and give me the live URL. If I'm on Builder or Pro, connect my domain [yourproduct.com].
Pro tip

Got a yes from the market? Describe the real product in your next prompt. Codata IO extends the same backend, and your waitlist is already in it.
